This was made as a gift for my host in Europe. He was very patient with me as I constantly measured it on his head, accidentally made moibus strips and bummed cigarettes from him. He called this color "The Queen's Orange".
Alas I don't know crochet notations, so like my technique, these directions are primitive.
Fiber
washable wool yarn from the bargain bin, 1 euro 50 for a big fat skein!
Stitches
the band is made of chain stitches, for the most part it's single crochets
with a ring of double crochet I used when decreasing stitches.
Tips
Never had I crocheted and uncrocheted an item as much as I did this one. Ripping
out bad stitches has greatly improved my technique.
Location
Made in Amsterdam, on the Amstel River and Brugge.
