Sea Shell Bag

Easy, cheesy, handy and dandy. The shells add weight and help keep it closed.

Fiber
Jello dyed cotton.

Stitches
Double crochet body, chain stitch contrast trim

Directions
Double crochet a rectangle. Crochet a strap, (here I did 3 rows, a single a double and a single). Fold the rectangle roughly into thirds. Use a single stitch to crochet the sides of the rectangle closed, attach the handle, and edge the piece. I attached the shells (found with holes in them already) to the bag with the contrasting edge stitch.

Location
Made in Brigantine, New Jersey while we relaxed with some of the hippest folks on the coast.

I played Jenga while downa shore too, much more social than Crocheting.
